THE GUYANA JUNGLE TOUR

Day 1:

Your tour group consists of at least five persons for

the Guyanese jungle tour.

Upon your arrival in Guyana, our  tour guide will greet you at the airport and accompany you from the airport to your hotel in Georgetown the capitol city. At the hotel, you will enjoy local hospitality with delicious Creole cuisine in a comfortable environment with international standards, air conditioning, and all modern amenities.

After some relaxation, the group will take a short and pleasant walking tour of Georgetown, visiting various landmarks such as the city's colonial architecture and its fortifications, which attest to the historical presence of Dutch, British, and Portuguese influences.

Today, Georgetown is primarily spoken in English, although Spanish and Portuguese are also spoken. It is also a cultural city with colonial buildings. By cultural standards, it is a Caribbean city, but geographically, it is a South American municipality, as it is located at the northernmost point of South America.

Day 2:

This is where the real jungle tour begins. The group gets up early for breakfast and joins the tour guide for ground transport. We leave Georgetown in a minibus or van to enter a jungle trail through lush rain-forest, which takes us to the mining town of Mahdia and then to Pamala Landing, small settlements along the way.

Along the way, we stop for lunch in a small village called '58 Village'. Here you can enjoy a delicious meal at a restaurant in the local jungle.

In Pamala Landing, the group will camp overnight. You can take the opportunity to relax and enjoy the natural surroundings. Take a dip in the nearby stream with its natural spring water before your tour guide serves dinner.

Day 3:

The group reaches Waratuk Falls early in the morning.

We will set up camp again for the rest of the day

and depart early the next morning. We will also visit Great Kaieteur Falls.

Day 4:

We enter Kaieteur National Park at the foot of Mount Kaieteur , where we rest and where you can have a swim in the nearby river before beginning the steep climb to the waterfalls.

During our excursion, we ascend the steep side of the mountain. Rest and find time for some photos. Within a few hours, you will climb the mountain and admire the majestic nature of the world's highest drop-shaped waterfalls. The evening camp is located amidst the extraordinary beauty of the jungle atmosphere in Kaieteur National Park. Dinner will be served.

Day 5:

There are many forms of life in the national park that you will experience. On this day, we will explore the waterfalls and Kaieteur National Park. The falls tour will be a fascinating experience. You will have the opportunity to see the falls up close from different perspectives. In the national park, you will explore the nature of the rain-forest by observing the different types of flowers, plants, and trees. And for bird lovers, there will be an opportunity for bird-watching. However, there are many tigers and other wild animals in this area.

After the national park tour, you will prepare for a fantastic overnight camping trip before your return journey to the city of Georgetown.

Day 6:

Your return journey to Georgetown offers a spectacular view of the Kaieteur Falls, the gorge, the rivers, and the rain-forest.

Day 7: Tour members prepare for  the journey to their respective  destinations.
