TOUR to your hotel in the capital, Georgetown, Guyana.
After a delicious lunch and some relaxation, we will take a short tour of Georgetown sights in the cool afternoon sun before crossing the border between Guyana and Brazil the following day.
Day 2:
Today we rise early to enjoy a hearty breakfast and prepare for our journey to Brazil.
The group departs Georgetown for a day and a half by bus through the jungle road, lined on both sides with dense green forest, stopping in several jungle villages for a short break and a meal.
We continue through the Rupunnuni Savannah, a vast landmass with numerous mountain ranges in the background. There, you'll find Indian villages along the road and even Latin American-style cowboys working on their ranches.
This part of Guyana is a blend of Latin American culture.
When we arrive in the border town of Lethem, you'll have the opportunity to explore the area in the late afternoon and early evening, witnessing the breathtaking sunset and the night stars that seem to hang directly overhead. Enjoy a local meal afterward before retiring for the night.

Day 3:
We prepare for a 15-minute walk to cross the Takutu River, which separates Guyana from Brazil, by simply walking across the Takutu Bridge into Brazil when we arrive.
Once the group crosses the border into Brazil, we proceed through Brazilian immigration and then board a bus to the city of Manaus. This bus journey takes approximately fourteen hours, but you won't feel uncomfortable on board, as the buses are very modern with air conditioning and televisions. The Brazilian landscapes are very beautiful, with their Spanish houses and ranches, mountain ranges, and wide rivers.

Day 5:
On this day, the group arrives at the hotel in Manaus.
In the jungle, we will explore the surroundings by hiking trails and canoeing on the river.
You will have the opportunity to go bird watching with the pink dolphins and to spot alligators at night.
This Amazon river dolphin is considered the most intelligent of the freshwater dolphin species.
These sensitive mammals, whose brain capacity is forty percent greater than that of the human brain, have lived in harmony with humans in the Amazon region for centuries.
Travelers love to swim with the dolphins. For most visitors, it is the main attraction.
Group camps in the jungle during the three- to four-day jungle tour.
Again, to remind you, camping with hammocks, tents, and your jungle guide is easy to prepare your meals.
A visit to the indigenous villagers is optional. And
if you wish to make such a visit,
special arrangements would need to be made. Please inform
our office of your intention.
